WHAT WE DO

The Vice Presidency for Countries (VPC) at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) leads the Bank's dialogue and relationship with borrowing countries, ensuring the delivery of a robust program aligned with the client needs. For doing so, VPC leads and coordinates the formulation of country strategies and regional strategies, overseeing the operational program for the public sector, and supporting the development of the non-sovereign guaranteed program. Additionally, VPC provides advice and expertise in financial management and procurement, and the implementation of the IDB Group Civil Society Strategy.
