WHAT WE DO
The Vice Presidency for Countries (VPC) is responsible for leading the dialogue and relationship of the Bank with borrowing countries and delivering a robust program aligned with client needs. For doing so, VPC leads and coordinates the formulation of country and regional strategies; the operational program for the public sector, also supporting the development of the non-sovereign guaranteed program; the Public-Private Partnerships initiatives across the IDB Group; the provision of advice and services in financial management and procurement; and the implementation of the IDB Group Civil Society Strategy.
