Lynne Charbonneau has more than three decades of experience in law, private-sector management, and corporate governance. She is Vice-President of the World Bank Administrative Tribunal, an independent judicial forum for World Bank staff to address employment matters, and an independent director of the development corporation serving the Inuit of Canada’s western Arctic. Ms. Charbonneau previously served as a director and chair of the Human Resources Committee of one of Canada’s largest credit unions and as chair of the board of Actsafe Safety Association, which promotes worker health and safety in British Columbia’s film, television, and performing arts industries. She has also taught as an adjunct law professor at the University of Calgary. Formerly Deputy General Counsel at HSBC Bank Canada, where she led the legal team advising on retail banking and wealth management, and a partner at Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP, Ms. Charbonneau has extensive experience in labour and employment law, banking, corporate finance, and mergers and acquisitions.
