The 15th Annual Conference of the LACEA Trade, Integration and Growth Network will be held in Montevideo, Uruguay on May 26-27, 2025.
This conference is sponsored by the Latin American and Caribbean Economic Association (LACEA), the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the CAF-Development Bank of Latin America (CAF), and the Research Institute for Development, Growth and Economics (RIDGE).
Calendar
- The deadline for submissions is March 7, 2025. Please note that only papers written in English and in PDF format will be considered. While detailed abstracts will be accepted, there is a strong preference for nearly completed papers.
- The final selection of papers will be made by March 21, 2025. This year selection of contributed papers and discussants will be made by a Program Committee whose members are: Laura Alfaro (Harvard Business School), Lorenzo Caliendo (Yale School of Management), Kalina Manova (University College London), Pablo Sanguinetti (Universidad Torcuato Di Tella), Peter Schott (Yale University), and Christian Volpe Martincus (IDB).
- The conference program including links to the papers to be presented will be posted on the website by May 16, 2025.
- The selected papers will be presented along invited contributions at the 15th Annual Conference of the LACEA Trade, Integration and Growth Network (TIGN) on May 26-27, 2025.

Logistic information
The sponsoring organizations will cover travel (economy class) and accommodation expenses for the authors of the selected papers (one author per paper). Other detailed guidelines explaining the logistics of the conference will be provided at a later stage.
