Gobernarte selected six initiatives presented by sub-national governments from Latin American and Caribbean countries as winners of the eighth edition in the following categories:
Category 1: Public Innovation in the face of new migration flows.
Category 2: Public Innovation to prevent and respond to the Crime of Trafficking in Persons.
• Two (2) initiatives from governments at the second administrative level (states, provinces, departments, regions, and equivalent denominations);
• Two (2) initiatives from governments at the third administrative level with more than 1 million inhabitants (municipalities and equivalent denominations); and
• Two (2) initiatives from governments at the third administrative level with less than 1 million inhabitants (municipalities and equivalent denominations).
