Andrew Clark is Alternate Executive Director for the Office of Croatia, Japan, Korea, Portugal, Slovenia, and the United Kingdom at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and UK Representative to the MIF Donors Committee (IDB LAB) since September 1st, 2022. Prior to this, he was a UK Representative at the United Kingdom’s Delegation to the World Bank Group.  Before these roles, Mr. Clark was Head and Deputy Head of the Growth and Resilience Department at the UK Government’s Department for International Development (DFID). He has also worked in many developing countries including Mozambique, Ethiopia, Malawi, Tunisia, Afghanistan, and Pakistan as a team leader and country economist. He has worked as a staff member for both the African Development Bank and World Bank.

Mr. Clark holds a M.A and MSc in Economics from Heriot-Watt University and the University of Glasgow, respectively, and holds a Doctorate in Economics from Heriot-Watt University.
