Strategy and Projects

Guatemala’s Country Strategy 2024-2028 aims to generate greater development impact through more focused and larger-scale interventions, with the goal of improving the living conditions of vulnerable populations while strengthening Guatemala's position as the largest economy in the Central American region. This will be achieved through three strategic pillars:

  1. Basic services for vulnerable populations, contributing to reducing social gaps and improving service delivery.
  2. Private sector development, enhancing the business climate and strengthening entrepreneurial capacities, particularly for MSMEs.
  3. Climate action and food availability, by expanding climate financing and adopting adaptation and mitigation measures in the agricultural and forestry sectors.
