The proposed project will design and implement strategic sustainable action plans for water management and effective conservation of wetland ecosystems in the altiplano areas of Chile, Peru and Argentina. This project will also generate the conditions for rational use and conservation of key environmental attributes through the establishment of public-private partnerships and local collaborative initiatives, for which several participatory management actions will be implemented on biodiversity and water resources.
