Central Bank Adaptation to Climate Change

This Regional Public Good will be a new institutional framework to support the adaptation of Central Banks policy making in South America to climate change through three components. Regional strategy and action plans: development of common strategies, guidelines, and action plans at the regional level. Analysis and research: a new institutional framework demands improvement and strengthening of CBs capacity to assess the macroeconomic implications derived from climate change. Methodologies and tools for regional application: application of methodologies and guidance on how CBs can manage risks and uncertainty challenges.
