The regional project "Knowledge Generation and strengthening of institutional capacities for the development of infrastructure and digital economy in Latin America and the Caribbean," is to promote, facilitate and contribute to harmonization in the design and implementation of regulatory and policy measures in essential aspects for the development of infrastructure and digital economy in LAC. Offering solutions to problems and common challenges of the countries within the framework of their participation in the digital economy. This will lead to the fulfillment of the following specific objectives: (i) Promote and facilitate access to technical knowledge adjusted to the needs of the public sector in the region in particular issues related to the development of infrastructure and digital economy; (ii) that the beneficiary countries as a whole become more relevant in the coordination mechanisms at the international level; and (iii) set up as a space for high-level regional discussion, exchange of experiences and dissemination of technical knowledge, a space that, under this initiative, is called the Network of Infrastructure Specialists and Digital Economy of LAC (from now on the Specialists Network).
