The objective of this technical cooperation is to support the countries of SICA develop and implement a common strategy to promote the production of basic sociodemographic statistics that are comparable across countries. The strategy would promote, among other things, the standarization of production processes and methodologies for household surveys and population census, plus a common model to improve the statistical use of civil registry data (vital statistics).
