The main objective of this operation is to consolidate the capacity of IDB to monitor progress towards the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) with an equity and pro-poor perspective. This would be accomplished through extending the services provided by the Social Indicators and Equity Information System (EQxIS) and fully integrating EQxIS with the Social Indicators provided by RES (Sociómetro).
