The objective of the CCLIP and the second operation is to contribute to the development of the required human capital needed to manage and drive economic growth and diversification as outlined in Guyana's National Development Plan. The specific objectives of the second operation are: (i) expand and improve access to safe and improved learning environments in selected schools, (ii) expand and improve educational services (children with special education needs and disabilities and indigenous communities; socio-emotional support services for both students and teachers); and (iii) reduce violent and disruptive behavior in both primary and secondary schools.
