The general objective of the TC is to contribute to the progressive transition of the country towards zero net emissions of Greenhouse Gases (GHG) by 2050, benefiting the entire population through reforms to encourage the use of renewable electricity in different sectors of the economy. The specific objectives are to support the development and implementation of the National Decarbonization Plan (PD) through the analysis of the direct and indirect costs caused by the use of energy in the different subsectors of the electricity sector; make a cost allocation proposal for the industrial, residential and commercial sectors, as well as the transportation sector; and strengthen the technical capacities of the regulator on tariff.
