The objectives of the project are to: augment existing water supplies; diversify potable water sources; enhance water supply resiliency by increasing the availability of reclaimed water treated to international discharge standards and reduce water insecurity through aquifer recharge; and reduce the impact of untreated effluent on marine life and the environment.
