The financing will result in  improvements in Loma Negra's environmental performance through, among others, the reduction of dust and gas emissions affecting the communities located in the vicinity of the company's facilities. The investments will further lead to a net reduction of energy consumption during the production process despite the expected increase in production.
The capacity expansion will allow the company to meet demand growth in different parts of the country, and particularly in the under-served north east region. The investment program will also benefit consumers through better customer service by reducing waiting times for product delivery.
