The general objective of this technical cooperation (TC) is to generate an updated diagnosis of the education sector through the collection and systematization of data on nutrition and school feeding of students and teachers, as well as school kitchens and canteens. For this, it is proposed to carry out studies on the different dimensions of food policies in the educational sector in the post-pandemic context: the cost of diets on dietary diversity, the nutritional status of students and teachers, storage and preparation of meals in schools. and necessary infrastructure improvements in school kitchens and canteens. Potentially, we will try to include more issues related to school infrastructure (such as access to basic services) and the working condition of teachers, but it will depend on access to schools and having the appropriate counterparts that allow us to survey broader information.
