UR-T1066 : Support to Freight Logistics ICTs in Uruguay

Therefore, the project seeks to develop studies that will provide the country with a clear picture about the feasibility of implementing a Community Freight Information System at the national level, comprising all the country¿s ports and borders, and to a lesser degree, the nodes and national logistics platforms embedded in the system for handling goods with origin and destination to the international market. This project will help the country achieve its goal of establishing itself as a regional logistics hub via the logistic optimization of its transport services, and the comprehensive monitoring of the role of all components in the system, while meeting International Customs Standards requirements regarding security of supply chains.
