Montevideo Sanitation Program (PSU IV)

The Montevideo Sanitation Program will be financed through a Conditional Credit Line (CCLIP) with three programs to be executed in 15 years con. The goal of the CCLIP is to support the Intendencia Municipal de Montevideo (IMM) in its efforts to improve the living conditions of the population in Montevideo's metropolitan area, increasing the coverage of the sanitation service, and reducing contamination of streams, beaches, and the Bay. Teh goal of the first Program is to reduce teh levels of pollution in streams, beaches, and Montevideo's Bay. The purpose of the first Program is to increase service coverage, and rehabilitation of storm drainage systems, and to improve the efficiency of delivery of the service.
