Risk Capital Fund for Small Enterprises

The Fund will be one of the first equity funds for small companies operating in Argentina. This fund, which will leverage a considerable amount of private resources, could serve to attract other private and public investors as well as management companies to enter this field of operation. The Project finances two components: Technical Assistance to support the creation of local capacities in managing investment funds focused to small enterprises, which will be financed with a grant from the MIF and Banco CREDICOOP for a total of US$ 230,000; and the establishment of a Investment Fund, in which will participate MIF, Banco CREDICOOP and Banco Ciudad. The target of the fund will be to get US$ 20 million with a MIF investment of US$ 6 million.
