Basic Infrastructure Sectors Reform
The objective of this project is to bring in technical experts from the private sector to provide services in the electricity and sanitation sectors. MIF funds will be used to create and establish regulatory frameworks for these sectors. Consultants will be contracted and used to prepare regulations for the application of laws in each sector, create methods and procedures to establish tariffs, and implement technical norms and models of contracts for providing water and sewage services.
