Difusion of the Innovation Unit
This project will improve the production practices and the competitiveness of small Peruvian businesses, helping them to incorporate new technologies in their production processes. A Center for the Exchange of Technology and Information of the National Society of Industry will be created and technical assistance will be offered to support its work. Small businesses, specifically those with only 5 to 49 employees will have access to the information in this center, which will include information about technical norms, machines and equipment, industrial materials, and documents about experts and consultants in specialty fields. Some of the benefits of this project include the strengthening of the relationship between small businesses and universities and technical institutes, as well as aiding businesses that are just starting off operate more efficiently.
