International Trade Modernization
This program will help the Association of Exporters of Peru in the development of new export products and markets by strengthening the capacity of the countryís private sector in order to initiate export growth. The project will concentrate on selecting niches in the market and products that with export potential, as well as establishing contacts in other countries and commercialization programs. The program will be directed by middle and upper level managers, particularly outside of Lima. Another component of the project will be to improve computers, programs, and data bases utilized by the Association for providing information services to exporters. These services will be improved and personnel will be trained as well.
