Risk Management in Rural Financial Institutions

The objective of this study is to draw lessons from a sample of rural financial institutions that have been able to manage credit risk successfully, especially lending to small agricultural producers. The sample will include at least four institutions in two countries with relatively dynamic agricultural markets, Peru and Guatemala.
