Identifying challenges for the advancement of AI in the public sector

The General Objective of the Technical Cooperation (TC) is to generate knowledge about the obstacles for the adoption of AI in the public sector and the mechanisms to overcome them. The specific objectives are: (i) to conduct applied research to identify the main hurdles that prevent a faster adoption of AI in the public sector and the means to overcome them; (ii) to train government officials based on the findings of the research; and (iii) to promote the design and implementation of national data policies and AI strategies.
