Enhancing the Use of Fiduciary Country Systems through International Standards and Best Practices

This Technical Cooperation (TC) aims to improve the effectiveness, reliability, and sustainability of national fiduciary systems in order to enable and optimize their use in IDB-financed operations, by aligning them with international standards and best practices. This will be achieved through: 1) Support the adoption and integration of international standards, as well as the progressive reduction of gaps with respect to recognized best practices. 2) Promoting knowledge exchange and collaboration among governments in the region, enabling countries to share successful experiences and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement in fiduciary governance and public resource management.
