The general objective of the project is to develop and deploy regionally accepted new digital metrology services to address emerging technologies, such as technologies developed as a consequence of the COVID-19 crisis. The specific objectives are: (i) to develop regional criteria for data curation services (focus on health data), and engage health professionals to apply metrology methods to data curation; (ii) to promote mutual acceptance of measurement results (i.e. health data, equipment quality, calibration services, testing standards, clinical trials, drug safety); (iii) to promote the adoption of digital technologies and virtual metrological controls of equipment between National Metrology Institutes, industry, and health services in particular, through the design and implementation of a Regional Metrology Cloud; and (iv) to promote a climate of innovation, competitiveness and productivity by enhancing the delivery of advanced measurement services for digital technologies.
