This TC seeks to support the Central American Security Strategy (ESCA) of the Central American Integration System (SICA) and promote the planning and coordination of resources for safety programs through the institutional strengthening of the Observatory and Democratic Security Index (OBSICA) and the expansion of the online tool of Mapping Safety Interventions in Central America, This will generate data and accessible information to be used for monitoring the ESCA projects. This will be carried out mainly through: (i) training for OBSICA officials in the use of the online tool, (ii) modernization of the tool for easy usage and to generate the latest tools for online viewing and promoting the transparency of safety interventions within the region, and (ii) the development and dissemination of analysis based on information from database that will feed the online tool.
