RG-T1759 : Knowledge network on health benefits packages

The overall objective of the project is to support and link a network of institutions and experts -the source of strategies and tools to transform technical knowledge into successful health policy- with a network of policy-makers, focused on the Expected results include: (1) An active and growing regional network of experts and institutions working around the three key issues of design and implementation of health benefits packages, (2) A published body of knowledge in Spanish on the Web and in research articles, showcasing the legislative, financial, and management practices related to benefits package design in the Region and their impact on health system outcomes, sources of revenue, and patterns of expenditure over time, identifying key vulnerabilities and limitations, particularly in implementation, and modeling future trends in demographics, epidemiology, and technology improvements and their impact on benefits packages;
