Knowledge Management of KMG and MTP Funds
The objective of this project is to support the implementation of the Knowledge Management Action Plan, agreed upon by DFID, WB and IDB on June 16, 2008 and related to the KMG and MTP funds. The Action Plan primarily seeks to: (a) promote the use of Fund supported / generated outputs by Bank sector specialists and decision makers in the region; (b) ensure synergies among the three participating entities and related to dissemination activities, and (c) generate information exchange venues allowing for continued attention to the areas promoted by the Fund in terms of WB and IDB programming exercises, as well as the dissemination of lessons in LAC. The specific objectives are; (a) systematize the knowledge products generated by the Fund (including those related to the Fund administration), (b) support the implementation of the Action Plan via the utilization of the existing (generated) products, the design of new products and /or the organization of dissemination and training events for sector specialists in the three participating agencies as well as for decision makers in the region, and (c) provide input for DFID's knowledge management processes and the Fund's evaluation.
