Technical support for a more efficient implementation of labor policy in Mexico

The objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to support key processes of labor market policy reforms to which the PBP ME-L1341 contributes by: (i) strengthening the capacities of the Federal Center for Conciliation and Labor Registration, State Office (CFCRL) to oversee union democracy and verify the approval of new collective bargaining agreements; (ii) providing training and professional development for administrative staff of the Conciliation and Arbitration Boards to reduce their backlog, as well as for administrative staff of the Administrative Courts to improve case management and make oral trials more efficient; (iii) designing business rules for software to implement regulations for registering platform workers with social security (IMSS); and (iv) scaling up ALEPH-Laboral 1.0 for the enforcement of labor policies (e.g., consistent salary registration before IMSS and SAT, payment of benefits, compliance with labor reforms, among others).
