Implementation of Poverty Reduction Strategy
The general objective of the program is to help achieve a sustained reduction in poverty over the medium term. To do so will require effective implementation of the Poverty Reduction Strategy (PRS), which in turn will make Honduras eligible for the Highly Indebted Poor Countries initiative (HIPC). It will finance the preparation of an institutional framework as well as instruments for implementing the strategy.
