Strengthening Public Financial Management for Transparent and Efficient public spending

This Technical Cooperation (TC) aims to support the modernization of public financial management (PFM) practices in Guatemala, with a focus on improving fiscal transparency, efficiency and accountability through the renewal of the Integrated Financial Management Information System (SIGF). To achieve this objective, this TC will finance the implementation of two types of actions: (i) strengthen the institutional capacity of the Ministry of Finance to improve the quality, availability, and coverage of PFM-related data; and (ii) support the integration of PFM processes and systems, aligning with international standards and best practices.
