Prevention and Control of Chagas Disease in Usulután
Specific Objectives: Specific Objective 1: Strengthen the anti-vector control interventions of the Triatoma dimidiata, by means of research, prevention and promotion of the inter-sectorial committee under the Ministry of Health, vector programs in the two municipalities of Usulutan. Specific Objective 2: Strengthen the municipal and/or local capacity building in the field of organization and community organization leading to epidemiological surveillance to control the Chagas Disease through primary care groups. Specific Objective 3: Strengthen the monitoring and epidemiological and entimological surveillance interventions through social participation to control the Chagas Disease by means of inter-sectoral and school committees.
