Iche- Young people cooking the future: Boosting Ecuador's gastronomic ecosystem

The main objectives of the project are: i) transform the School of Food and Hospitality into an Instituto Superior Tecnológico (IST) specialized in gastronomy, regenerative tourism and hospitality; and, innovation and development of food products; ii) expand the capacity of the culinary innovation laboratory and establish the tourism innovation laboratory that will allow students and entrepreneurs to prototype food products and design tourism experiences in line with current national and global demand trends; and iii) establish co-working specialized in the gastronomic, tourism and food sectors to strengthen the capacity of the incubator-accelerator to support graduates of the future Iche Institute and entrepreneurs from Manabí and Ecuador to initiate/consolidate their startups.
