DR-L1117 : Program to Enhance the Efficiency of Tax Administration and Public Expenditure Management in the Dominican Republic

Project Status: Implementation

The objective is to improve the sustainability of public finances by: (i) strengthening the capacities of tax administration; and (ii) modernizing procedures and systems that support the management of public budget. The expected results are: (i) an increase in revenue collection and compliance; and (ii) reduce budget expenditure. This operation is aligned with the objective of improving domestic taxation of the fiscal management priority sector of the IDB Country Strategy with Dominican Republic the 2013-2016 (GN-2748).
