Boosting digital government and transforming institutional culture for user-centered service delivery in Costa Rica

This technical cooperation aims to promote digital government and the transformation of institutional culture for the delivery of user-centered services in Costa Rica, primarily within the Ministry of Finance and other prioritized government entities. Specifically, it seeks to: (i) streamline key procedures and services by incorporating user-centered design tools and solutions; (ii) strengthen digital and technological management capacities of the streamlined processes by introducing elements to enhance the productivity of the public servants operating them and the accessibility for external users; and (iii) develop leadership, planning, and strategic management for results with a user-centered approach to support the respective streamlining and digitalization efforts.
