CR-T1067 : Restructuring of the National Innovation System of Costa Rica

The aims of the project are designing and sizing the first phase of an investment program (4-5 years) of the restructuring of the National Innovation System. The abstract should identify the components of investment that will reduce or eliminate the weaknesses identified, and at the same time to ensure increase productivity. The expected results, obtained through meetings and workshops with the government of Costa Rica, led by Chilean experts, are: (i) identification of critical success factors for a program on Science, Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the new government of Costa Rica from the experience of Chile and other international experiences, (ii) recommendations for the design of the program on Science, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, (iii) recommendations for making the loan with the IDB for the program and ( iv) helping to formulate some specific components at the request of the government of Costa Rica.
