Prototype of the Medical Guidance Platform for All
The objective of the operation is to build and test a prototype of a on-line medical orientation service that has proof of market over the past 5 years, but requires working with lower-income populations to adjust the service to this underserved market. During the testing of the prototype, this new segment of the population will have free access to this service, which at present with the Covid 19 crisis, will replace going physically to health center as the only means of receiving information, to consulting on line with a doctor, thereby offering timely and expert services and potentially reducing the number of people going to the hospitals. This reduces both the risk of contagion and allows medical staff to attend to those who require it the most. This prototype will generate evidence to present to public insurers in Bogotá and Armenia, so that they can include this type of service as a covered benefit for low-income populations.
