Support for Improving Vulnerable Schools in Chile

The general objective of this project is to contribute in the reform to the education system in Chile, which includes a plan to support the 2,000 poorest performing schools in the country. In particular, the projects will: i) adapt the successful model applied in the school district of New Orleans (Recovery School District of Louisiana) to the Chilean case; ii) design and implement a technically rigorous impact evaluation, which allows documenting the results of this intervention to be later implemented in other poor performing schools in Chile and the Region.
