Strengthening Local Policies to Reduce Violence Against Women (VAW)
The objective of this TC is to strengthen sub-national policies to prevent violence against women (VAW) in Bolivia. The specific objectives are: (i) provide rigorous empirical evidence to inform the design of effective policies aimed at preventing violence against women and girls in Bolivia; (ii) Quantify public spending on VAW and analyze its performance in order to propose improvements in the allocation and execution of budget funds; y (iii) promote dialogue with policymakers in Bolivia to improve the capacity of the public sector to promote equitable and non-violent gender behavior.
