Education Evaluation Support

The objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to generate evidence on how to strengthen STEAM education in Belize, with a focus on skills relevant to the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4iR). Specifically, the TC seeks to: (i) assess the feasibility and effectiveness of a pilot training program aimed at building the leadership and instructional capacity of STEAM coordinators in secondary schools; (ii) evaluate a curriculum-writing pilot that aims to develop and test 4iR-aligned learning materials for use in STEAM classrooms; and (iii) identify evidence-based practices in STEAM education through a systematic review of global and regional experiences. The findings will inform national strategies to improve teaching and learning in STEAM fields, close learning gaps, and better prepare students for emerging labor market demands
