Support for the Development of Argentine SME's in Santa Fe Province

The objectives are to: fund a facility that will primarily grant medium- and long-term loans and, depending on market demand, provide quasi-equity financing to approximately 70 to 90 SMEs in the province of Santa Fe, primarily in the agribusiness, auto parts, tools, farm machinery, and food industry equipment industries; promote this lending methodology, which is new to Argentina, by creating and implementing a new instrument-the Loan Facility; create a lasting local source of know-how regarding this methodology, by offering training to local Facility personnel, and, attract other investors so the model can be replicated in other parts of the country and evaluate the methodology so this type of program can be replicated elsewhere in the region.
