IDB Group will meet with the Civil Society representatives from Latin America and the Caribbean in Bolivia

Event will be in Santa Cruz from November 8-9 and will examine topics on innovation sustainable development in the region

Representatives of the civil society organizations from 26 countries throughout Latin America and the Caribbean will meet in Bolivia on November 8-9 to host the XVII Annual Meeting of the IDB Group-Civil Society

The meeting will discuss topics such as innovation for sustainable growth, digital economy, data and innovation in cities and future jobs. The meeting will be chaired by Alexandre Meira da Rosa, the IDB’s Vice President for Countries, joined by Alejandro Melandri, the IDB’s representative in Bolivia, as well as top government officials. 

The IDB, through its offices located in 26 member countries, consults regularly with organizations of civil society and once a year, representatives of these groups are invited to attend a regional gathering, which this year is being held in Bolivia.
