Claudia Martínez A. is a Lead Economist at the Inter-American Development Bank. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Michigan and a BA in Economics from the University of Chile. Her areas of specialization are economic development and public finance. Her research focuses on disability, female labor participation, entrepreneurship, and education in Latin America. She has published research articles in The Review of Economics and Statistics, American Economic Journal: Applied Economics, Journal of Human Resources, and Journal of Development Economics.
