Lorena Mereles González

 

Lorena Mereles González has worked for various international organizations in the last 15 years. During this time, she has chaired several appeal boards within the internal justice system of these organizations, more recently at the Green Climate Fund and WHO's Global Board of Appeal. She has also served as Legal Officer with the CTBTO Preparatory Commission and HR Analyst in the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). She has provided legal advice on a wide range of issues in the fields of international administrative law, contracts, and international law. She has developed standard operating procedures for the appeal bodies of some of these organizations. She has also worked at law firms and the private sector. She holds a law degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico and a Master of Laws from Columbia University in New York. She is fluent in Spanish, English, and French.
