WHAT WE DO
The Legal Department (LEG) advises the IDB president and management and when appropriate, the Board of Governors and the Board of Executive Directors, on all legal matters relating to the Bank.
The department directs the Bank's representation in litigation, arbitration, or other administrative or legal proceedings, or in matters in which the Bank may become a party or have an interest. LEG is divided into the Corporate Legal Affairs Division and the Sovereign Guaranteed Operations Division.
