Support Tripartite Committee in Ftaa
The objective of this program is to provide technical support to the Tripartite Committee in carrying out the mandate issued at the Summit of the Americas and reiterated at subsequent ministerial meetings to back negotiations for a Free Trade of the Americas Area (FTAA). The program will be designed according to the new mandates and activities flowing from the ministerial and presidential meetings to be held respectively in Costa Rica (April 1998) and Chile (May 1998).
