Competitiveness of the Value chain of Quinoa in Peru and Bolivia
Identify and prioritize the critical factors of innovation in the value chain of quinoa for structuring bankable project proposal .
Develop proposals for improvement of the factors identified .
Develop a detailed financing and implementation of the proposed improvements and to identify potential funding platform partners plan establishing roles and commitments.
Directly beneficiaries will quinoa producers , processors and traders in each country. Indirectly all domestic and international consumers.
In the case of Peru , there are an estimated 100,000 smallholders quinoa (30 % women, 30 % youth ) 2000 marketers (60 % assemblers , 30 % small processing plants, 10% agro-industrial plants ) . As indirect beneficiaries are considered consumers to Peru are about 5 million people ( 60 % women).
In the case of Bolivia , there are some 150,000 smallholders quinoa (35 % women, 35 % youth) , 3000 traders ( collectors 65% , 25 % smaller processors , 10% industrial plants ) . As indirect beneficiaries are considered consumers for Bolivia are about 3 million people (55 % women).

At the international level are considered direct beneficiaries importing firms , companies direct sales to the public and consumers who are difficult to identify at this time , requiring a market study to estimate.
