The objective of the Technical Cooperation (TC) is to assist government agencies involved in the power sector in improving the policy and regulatory framework. This improvement aims to promote private sector involvement in increasing Renewable Energy (RE) penetration in the generation mix, the deployment of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and promoting better regulation practices throughout the power sector, to cope with the expected changes during the energy transition towards a carbon free economy.
