Mural in an office - Creativity and Culture - Inter American Development Bank - IDB

The IDB collaborates with arts organizations around the world to showcase Latin American and Caribbean art and development to a wider audience.  These initiatives take many forms, from digital projects to site-specific interventions, all designed to highlight the role of arts, culture, and creativity as powerful tools for communication and social transformation in our region.

By working closely with artists, cultural institutions, and creative organizations, we develop tailored projects that foster dialogue, innovation, and community engagement.

Each year, the IDB Art Program takes part in the PAAL Accelerator Platform, which supports Latin American artists through residencies, exhibitions, and creative collaborations. The IDB curators are invited to participate annually as a mentor and judge, contributing to the residency’s mission of cultural dialogue and artistic growth.
